Help.
TopsyTurvy is a game of solitare that I came up with one bored day back in college. It is difficult to get the hang of but once you do you may just look at the world a little differently.
Object: The object of topsy turvy is to get all of the cards into a single stack.
Play: If you are familiar with Klondike Solitare then you are half way there. The board is divided into three play areas; Up, Down, and Draw.
In the up area you play alternating colors of higher cards. An ace is up from a king and a 2 is up from an ace. In the down area you play alternating colors of lower cards. An ace is down from a 2 and a k is down from an ace.
If you play all of the cards from one of the ten up/down piles you may start a new pile with a king or ace.
Piles or partial piles may be flipped from up to down or down to up. This adds to the general mayhem of the game.
You may loop through the draw pile 3 cards at a time as often as you wish and you may play one card at a time from the draw.
Cards are moved on the play board by clicking on a card, pile, or partial highliting the cards and then clicking on the pile you want them moved to. Because of the nature of the web interface (without java/javascript) you do not drag the cards but click to select and click to drop. If you select a card/pile and wish to un-select, click on it again.
